Corsica surprised us. We were not expecting the rugged mountains. It’s seaside is glorious and viewing the southern part of the Island by boat was spectacular. Some of the houses in Bonifacio look like they are just hanging off the cliffs.
Memories include meeting a wonderful family from Norway who we have become close friends with and in fact booked a subsequent family vacation together on the Island of Hvar! Corsica belonging to France allowed our girls the opportunity to speak French! They surprised us with how much they understood. And, we found a lovely camp park / resort that I would highly recommend. From yoga classes, to kids clubs and nightly entertainment in an open air stage with dance performers, acrobats and magicians. There was something for everyone to enjoy.
